Church Technology Day Overview:

Church Technology Days are designed to provide an interactive and engaging overview of relevant technology topics.  A day typically comprises four practical workshops on various topics.

As well as the teaching content, the Days provide networking opportunities with other people facing the same technical issues as yourself – or even better, people who have already solved those issues!

All workshop attendees will receive an attendance certificate and an OpenBadge assessment record.

Cost:

To allow the utmost flexibility, Church Technology Days are run on the basis of a charge per person, per workshop.  So just come to the workshops you are interested in and are available for.

Make the most of this opportunity to get the better of Technology!

Costs vary depending on venue costs, if there are sponsorship arrangements and other factors.  We do our best to keep prices as low as possible, aiming to provide these workshops for between $25 and $50 per person, including GST.

Payment can be made online at the time of booking, by invoice, or by cash or cheque on the day.

If you are able to come for the whole day, there is a special online-only price for all four workshops when booked and paid at least 7-days in advance of the workshop.

Target Audience:

Church Technology Days are for the cadre of volunteers who turn up on Sundays (and spend lots of other time) to run and maintain sound systems, projectors, computers, telephone systems, streaming, video-conferencing and the myriad other pieces that make up the ICT infrastructure so that the mission of the Christian church is facilitated and supported.  As well, as pastors, presbyters, preachers, musicians and church administrators will find value in these sessions.

Diaconate of Church Technologists engages System Design & Communication Services to run Church Technology Days on their behalf.
